I’m not sure if wooly coats have a harder time regulating than plush huskies that I’ve had but I will tell you they require a lot of grooming which we do monthly. I do know in the winter because of the long coat they’re actually more subject to have issues with precipitation & snow/ice freezing on their hair and causing problems.
